Have you heard of Sseko Designs? Wear Sseko, Send a Girl to College  If you haven't you must! This amazing company is an ethical fashion brand that hires high potential women in Uganda to make sandals. This work allows them to earn money through employment. The money they make working for Sseko goes directly towards their college educations, ensuring they will continue pursuing their dreams. Sseko Facts: Enabled 88 women to continue on to university. They currently employ 50 women in Uganda  All of Sseko products are ethically sourced and made in Africa which create jobs, empower artisans and help end the cycle of poverty by building healthy communities and economies. What it means to be a conscious consumer... If you landed here my dear reader, you are already a conscious consumer.  You obviously would like to learn more, you are trying!  Maybe you buy some conventional produce and some organic. Maybe you still can't get into the wonders of coconut oil, take my advice and give it try!   Maybe you still think sustainable fashion mean muted colors and bad fabric. Maybe you think living an Eco Chic life means all or nothing. I am here to prove you wrong!
